Lakeside Stories – From the Fingerlakes

I’ve always wanted to create my own publication, filled with the stories of the people in the Finger Lakes region, especially between Owasco and Cayuga lake, where I live with my family.  That family consists of many animals, 7 acres of land, a wonderful partner and 3 gorgeous kiddos.  As much as I connect with my students, I want to get out into our community and surrounding area and share stories with the people there.  I’ve even considered volunteering at the local prison and starting a creative writing group there.  Yes, this will be a blog that I can meander through the possibilities.  The one thing I know for sure is that I am a storyteller, and I want to inspire those around me to write, regardless of the setting.
